Job description
The Manager, MARCOM at QNB (Communications > Advertising & PR) is primarily responsible for managing all requests received by Group Communications from units, subsidiaries, and branchesâcovering Advertising, Branding/Re-branding, Merchandising, and Public Relationsâacting as the focal point between MARCOM heads, Group Communication divisions, and business stakeholders within Qatar and assigned regions. The role enables campaign management services; attends meetings to capture requirements; uses consistent briefing documents, work logs, and action points; receives, processes, and tracks all communications-related requests from retail and corporate branches; clearly communicates customer needs to Group Communications and candidly presents recommendations to the customer; represents the customer within Group Communications and Group Communications at the Business Unit; develops thorough knowledge of the Business Unitâs business and all aspects of advertising (creative, media, research, commercial production); and ensures final deliverables are produced within budget and timelines by fostering productive communication, aligning goals, and ensuring proper delivery in line with MARCOM heads and Group Communications processes locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the focal point between Business Units/Customers and the Group Communications Department locally and internationally
- Communicate customer needs clearly to Group Communications and present Group recommendations candidly to customers
- Represent the customer within Group Communications and Group Communications at the Business Unit/Customer
- Attend meetings, capture all requirements, and formalize consistent briefing documents, work logs, and action points
- Receive, process, and manage communications requests (branding/re-branding, merchandising material, advertisements) from retail and corporate branches
- Track the progress of every request and provide timely updates to Business Units/Customers as needed
- Coordinate across MARCOM heads and Group Communication divisions to enable and deliver campaign management services
- Develop thorough knowledge of Business Unit activities and advertising disciplines including creative, media, research, and commercial production
- Ensure final deliverables meet requirements and are delivered within budget and time through effective stakeholder alignment
Experience & skills
- University graduate with a degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 6 yearsâ experience in account management, preferably with an advertising firm or a local/Gulf bank
- Good oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic preferred
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and thoroughly follow up on project plans and implementations
- Proven capability to follow through with initiatives and manage planning and organizing tasks
- Ability to work effectively with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds
