Job description
The Global HR Business Partner (FinTech) role at Rapyd acts as a strategic and operational HR leader supporting site leadership at C-level and C-1 level within the Dubai location. The role partners closely with global HRBP functions, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation & Benefits Centers of Excellence to align regional HR practices with global standards while adapting to UAE-specific requirements. The position is responsible for driving organizational change initiatives, internal restructuring, and business continuity while maintaining employee morale through clear communication. It requires deep expertise in the UAE talent market, including salary benchmarks, tax-free compensation structures, housing allowances, and competitor sourcing channels. The role oversees end-to-end visa and immigration processes, manages site HR budgets, payroll preparation, mandatory health insurance, and competitive local benefits. It owns the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through compliant and dignified offboarding, ensures strict adherence to DIFC Labor Law, and manages employment contracts, working hours, and leave policies. The role also handles grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes with legal precision, drives employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, recognition programs, and adapts global culture initiatives to local nuances, acting as the primary HR driver for the Dubai site.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner to site leadership at C-level and C-1 level, providing proactive HR counsel aligned to business targets and challenges
- Champion organizational change initiatives and internal restructuring while ensuring clear communication, morale preservation, and business continuity
- Leverage UAE talent market knowledge including salary benchmarks, tax-free adjustments, housing allowances, and competitor sourcing channels
- Partner with Global Talent Acquisition and Compensation and Benefits CoE teams to adapt sourcing and recruiting strategies for the region
- Oversee end-to-end visa and immigration processes for employees
- Manage site HR budget and oversee payroll preparation to ensure full accuracy and compliance
- Administer mandatory health insurance and competitive employee perks aligned with local and global standards
- Own the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, ongoing employee management, and compliant offboarding
- Ensure strict compliance with DIFC Labor Law including contracts, working hours, and leave policies
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes with fairness and legal accuracy
- Drive local morale through events, recognition programs, and wellbeing initiatives adapted to local culture
Experience & skills
- 8+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a similar role within a high-growth Tech or FinTech environment
- Expert knowledge of DIFC Labor Law and Dubai-specific employment regulations
- Experience operating in a global HR role with cross-border exposure
- Proven capability to balance scaling speed and agility with strict compliance requirements
- Ability to manage both strategic change initiatives and hands-on operational HR issues such as visas and payroll
- High proficiency in cross-border communication and influencing stakeholders across diverse cultures
