Job description
As a Senior Investment Advisor at Emirates NBD, you will assess clientsâ risk and return profiles, identify suitable investment products, and build tailored portfolios. The role involves client engagement, closing investment deals, monitoring performance, and providing holistic advisory support. You will partner with relationship managers, contribute to asset growth, and ensure accurate execution of trades while working closely with the Chief Investment Office. You will also mentor investment advisors, support professional development, and help drive cross-selling opportunities across the bank.

Key responsibilities
- Provide specialist investment advice and support services to senior relationship managers and UHNW clients
- Advise across equities, fixed income, FX/commodities, funds, real estate, structured solutions, direct investments, derivatives, and discretionary mandates
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and execute them
- Assist relationship managers in attracting new assets under management
- Ensure advisory and discretionary trades are executed and reflected in Advent system
- Assess and evaluate client risk profiles on an ongoing basis
- Identify appropriate products from the available solutions
- Construct and monitor client investment portfolios based on risk profile and asset allocation models
- Regularly report on performance of client investment profiles
- Review and rebalance client risk profiles as required
- Collaborate with CIO to prepare and present investment account reviews
- Analyze asset positions, suitability, and propose switches or new ideas
- Participate in hiring investment advisors and interviewing candidates
- Ensure continuous professional development of investment team members
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance-related field
- CFA Charterholder or enrolled in CFA program
- Private Banking experience with an investment advisory focus
- In-depth knowledge of investment products, services, charges, fees, and legal provisions
- Strong understanding of equity and bond markets, unit trusts, and personal investment services
- Proficiency in financial theory fundamentals
- Understanding of securities dealing and forex trade procedures
- Proficient in Arabic language
