Job description
Government entities banking with FAB's Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division pass through this team before an account is opened, and again at every periodic or trigger review. Managing the KYC and onboarding process for New to Bank clients is the core of the job, with agreed onboarding timelines to meet. Each file involves name screening, Adverse Media checks and customer due diligence on every associated party, plus review of account opening forms, Swift messages, AML and KYC forms and Sanctions Questionnaires. Where information is missing, you go back to the client or carry out independent research through approved public sources. Compliance and Approvers receive complete packs from you, with key information flagged according to the risk rating. All data is maintained in the Alpha system, while TATs, SLAs and team checks and controls keep quality consistent. On the reporting side, CIB Onboarding & KYC MI, the CDD Exception tracker and monthly KYC KRI/KPI reports all need regular attention. This is an Emiratised role for UAE Nationals with at least 5 years in onboarding, KYC or compliance at a reputable international bank. Knowledge of Funds, Brokers, Loan Agencies and Correspondent Banks is valuable, and a certification in KYC/AML/CFT, Compliance or Financial Crime is preferred.
