The Country Manager / Business Development Manager at Swift Dubai is a senior leadership role responsible for spearheading business growth, market expansion, and strategic client engagement across Turkiye, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. This role entails cultivating, maintaining, and strengthening long-term customer relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders, ensuring that Swift is positioned as a trusted advisor in cross-border financial messaging solutions. The incumbent will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial client engagement and opportunity identification to solution implementation, post-sales support, and continuous account management, guaranteeing a high level of customer satisfaction. The position requires representing Swift at industry conferences, workshops, networking events, and other public forums to increase brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and maintain a thought leadership presence in the financial ecosystem. The role also involves proactively monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes within the financial services sector to identify opportunities for business growth, advising internal teams on client requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions. Candidates must be Dubai-based, fluent in English and Russian, and capable of traveling to assigned countries to develop business opportunities and strengthen client partnerships. The position emphasizes accountability, strategic vision, and the ability to influence at both executive and operational levels, contributing directly to Swiftâs expansion objectives while ensuring adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and the highest ethical practices.

Key responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with assigned markets and accounts, understanding their evolving requirements and positioning Swift as a trusted advisor
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned markets
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to post-sales follow-up, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Represent Swift at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
- Demonstrate strong accountability for individual and team performance, adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proven track record of success in a business development / consultative sales role, preferably within the financial services or technology sector
- Demonstrable experience in building and nurturing strong customer relationships
- Ability to proactively identify customer needs and translate them into actionable business opportunities / outcomes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexible to travel to assigned countries in order to develop business and relationships
- Fluency in English and Russian
