Job description
Accenture is seeking a Contracting Counsel Senior Manager to join its Corporate Functions organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for leading, structuring, drafting, and negotiating Accenture’s largest and most complex client transactions, including master services agreements, outsourcing agreements, SaaS, cloud, blockchain, security, systems integration, automation, and agile development contracts. The Senior Manager will advise senior leadership on legal risks, oversee and mentor junior legal professionals, and provide guidance on intellectual property, data privacy, compliance, and risk issues. The role requires extensive experience in transactional law, particularly with government clients in Saudi Arabia, and demonstrated expertise in negotiation, risk management, compliance investigations, and employee relations. Responsibilities include supporting strategic contracting initiatives, developing toolkits and knowledge capital, and evolving as a technology-enabled legal professional. Travel is required.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, structure, negotiate, and close complex client transactions including MSAs, outsourcing, licensing, SaaS, cloud, blockchain, automation, systems integration, and agile contracts
- Advise company executives on legal and risk management issues related to transactions
- Oversee and mentor junior CLPs and support senior CLPs in complex matters
- Stay current on developments affecting company, clients, and industries and integrate into transactional practices
- Educate senior leadership on legal risks and mitigation strategies
- Develop subject matter expertise in legal and commercial risk areas
- Create internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge resources for legal and business issues
- Support and implement Legal Group initiatives across Accenture
- Conduct and supervise compliance, employment, and government investigations, providing confidential reports and advice
- Manage relationships with clients, negotiating teams, and outside counsel
- Ensure compliance with ethical, conduct, and local laws in Saudi Arabia
Experience & skills
- Undergraduate degree in Law
- Authorized and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- Minimum 8 years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing
- Minimum 4 years of experience negotiating IP and Data Privacy issues preferred
- Extensive experience with government clients in Saudi Arabia
- Proven negotiator with principle-based negotiation strategy expertise
- Strong knowledge of IP, risk management, and technology-based agreements
- Experience in compliance investigations, employment law, and workplace investigations
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, marketing, and management principles
- Strong executive presence and excellent oral/written communication skills
- Fluency in English and native Arabic
- Ability to manage large volumes of transactions independently
- Travel required
