Tabby, a leading FinTech offering flexible, interest-free payment solutions across UAE, KSA, Egypt, and Kuwait, is seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to join its Marketing team. The role is responsible for shaping Tabby’s presence on social media platforms through creative, video-first, short-form content that makes financial products relatable, entertaining, and accessible. The specialist ideates, scripts, and produces short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and other platforms, starring in content themselves while maintaining Tabby’s tone, values, and compliance. The role supports day-to-day social media management, seasonal and cultural campaigns such as Ramadan, and identifies and collaborates with influencers and UGC creators for the Saudi market. Editing and packaging content efficiently, optimising for platform-specific best practices, staying plugged into social trends, creator culture, and emerging formats, and working closely with marketing, brand, and creative teams are core to the role. The specialist uses social media analytics and audience insights to continuously evolve content performance and ensure cultural relevance, especially for the Saudi market. This role requires a creative thinker capable of turning cultural moments and trends into engaging social content while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities
- Ideate, script, and create engaging short-form video content for Tabby across Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and other platforms, translating financial topics into relatable, entertaining, and easy-to-understand content.
- Appear on camera with confidence and humor, filming Tabby-led content while demonstrating strong on-screen presence and authenticity.
- Manage Tabby’s social media presence daily, keeping a strong pulse on platform trends, audience engagement, cultural moments, and content performance across regions including UAE, KSA, Egypt, and Kuwait.
- Plan and execute seasonal and cultural campaigns such as Ramadan, adapting content to key moments and ensuring alignment with brand values and compliance standards.
- Identify, source, and collaborate with influencers and user-generated content creators, particularly in the Saudi market, ensuring cultural relevance, brand fit, and measurable performance outcomes.
- Edit and package content efficiently using CapCut or similar video editing tools, optimising for platform-specific formats and best practices.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and creator culture, using insights to continuously evolve and improve Tabby’s content strategy and audience engagement.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, brand, and creative teams to ensure visual, narrative, and campaign consistency across all social media content, while maintaining Tabby’s tone, values, and compliance standards.
- Monitor content performance through analytics tools, derive actionable insights, and refine strategies to increase engagement, reach, and conversion.
Experience & skills
- 3–5 years of experience in social media content creation, with a strong focus on short-form, video-first platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and Shorts.
- Proven on-camera presence with confidence, humor, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, script, and produce engaging content aligned with brand values, audience interests, and cultural relevance.
- Experience collaborating with designers, marketing, and brand teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and high-quality visuals.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple content streams, shoots, and timelines while maintaining high standards.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, analytics, audience behavior, trends, and performance optimization.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity within the Saudi market and broader GCC region, ensuring content is relevant, relatable, and on-brand.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with structure, deadlines, and performance objectives.
- Experience identifying and collaborating with influencers and UGC creators to amplify brand presence and engagement.
