Global Compliance and Reporting is one of six sub-service lines in EY's Tax practice, and its Kuwait team handles direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory accounting, financial reporting and tax accounting for clients across a range of industries. At Assistant Manager level, you run client engagements day to day, tracking progress and deliverables and putting standardized processes in place. Larger projects add coordination across the MENA region, with service delivery, issue resolution and contract management handled through EY teams in several countries. Spotting risks early and escalating issues when needed is part of the job, as is driving performance improvements. Every engagement follows EY's Tax Quality guidelines. Junior colleagues look to you for coaching, counseling and a positive learning culture. Relationships inside the firm and with clients need steady attention too. A Kuwaiti CPA is mandatory, along with at least 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules and a background in tax accounting and tax auditing.
