Job description
The Executive Director of Operations and Business Support leads the development and implementation of strategies aligned with the organizationās mission, ensuring cohesive operational function. The role oversees HR operations, financial planning, procurement, and IT systems, championing innovation and operational excellence. It includes stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance, with a focus on talent development, budget oversight, and technology integration. This position ensures that operational processes align with strategic objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organizationās mission and goals.
- Oversee HR operations including talent acquisition, development, and performance management.
- Foster a high-performance culture aligned with QRDIās goals.
- Direct financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes for fiscal responsibility.
- Manage financial forecasting, reporting, and risk to ensure fiscal transparency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Lead talent retention and development within operational divisions.
- Develop procurement strategies to ensure effective acquisition and supplier relationships.
- Oversee IT strategy, systems, and infrastructure for productivity and security.
- Drive integration of technology into operational processes for innovation.
- Ensure operational infrastructure supports long-term strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders including government and industry.
- Represent the agency in relevant forums and partnerships.
- Ensure alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution.
- Champion continuous improvement and workflow enhancements.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Experience & skills
- Masterās degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant full-time experience, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory role.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit reports and communications.
- Arabic proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
