The Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Area Manager (ICQA) for DXB3 at Souq.com FZ LLC (Amazon) is responsible for leading inventory control and quality assurance operations within a high-volume fulfillment center environment in Dubai. The role operates at the core of Amazon’s logistics and supply chain network, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and adherence to strict compliance standards including SOX regulations. The ICQA Area Manager leads and supervises hourly associates responsible for inventory control, cycle counts, and quality assurance processes while ensuring safety compliance and operational excellence across shifts. The position involves coordinating inventory maintenance activities, conducting random counts, analyzing inventory discrepancies, and identifying root causes of deviations through structured data analysis and cause-and-effect methodologies. The role is responsible for measuring inventory integrity and quality performance, reviewing customer complaints, and developing corrective action plans to reduce future defects. Additionally, the manager oversees shift planning, workforce allocation, forecasting, and performance management while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. The role supports Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies to optimize fulfillment center performance and reduce errors. It also includes coaching, performance appraisal, and development of team members to ensure high productivity and low turnover. The ICQA Area Manager plays a critical role in supporting Amazon’s customer obsession philosophy by ensuring accurate inventory flow, high-quality operations, and efficient fulfillment processes in a fast-paced logistics environment.
