Job description
As a Compliance Analyst for CDD Operations at OKX in Dubai, you will carry out thorough reviews of incoming customer onboarding cases, ensuring alignment with KYB policy and customer risk assessments. You will verify KYB documentation using internal validation tools and reputable external sources, request and follow up on required CDD/EDD documentation within SLAs, and investigate potential matches flagged by screening applications (sanctions, PEPs, adverse media). You will escalate issues, provide information to management on AML/CDD matters, support enhancements to the CDD function, manage ad hoc projects, and maintain high‑quality service delivery to internal and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal within the compliance function to uphold regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and support business operations in a rapidly evolving crypto environment.

Key responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive reviews of customer onboarding cases adhering to KYB principles and risk assessments
- Verify KYB documents using validation tools and reputable sources
- Request, follow up, and ensure CDD/EDD documentation is complete in line with AML policies
- Investigate matches from screening tools for sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media and take appropriate actions
- Provide timely escalation and information to management on AML/CDD issues
- Maintain high quality of service and professionalism in responding to queries and interactions
- Support improvements to CDD operations and maintain related procedures
- Manage compliance or process improvement projects as needed
Experience & skills
- Have a higher diploma, degree, or higher tertiary education
- Possess at least 2 years’ experience in CDD, with exposure to institutional clients / KYB
- Be a team player capable of working collaboratively in a compliance function
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in compliance and documentation tasks
