Job description
The Director – Head of Film Studio (Culture) role at Qiddiya Investment Company is a senior leadership position responsible for the strategic direction and end-to-end operational management of a dedicated cultural film studio. The role oversees all aspects of film studio operations including project development, production, and post-production, ensuring that cultural film initiatives align with Qiddiya’s mission and objectives and reinforce its leadership position in the entertainment landscape. The position drives the development and execution of innovative cultural film initiatives, shapes narrative and creative direction, and manages executive functions across projects. It involves establishing and maintaining partnerships with local, regional, and international filmmakers, artists, and creative professionals, overseeing budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and financially disciplined delivery, fostering a collaborative and creative studio environment, ensuring adherence to the highest artistic and technical standards, representing Qiddiya at industry events and film festivals, and monitoring global industry trends to keep the studio at the forefront of cultural film production.

- Monitor film industry trends, technologies, and cultural developments to maintain a cutting-edge studio output
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in film production and management with a focus on cultural content
- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale film projects from inception through completion
- Strong understanding of cultural landscapes and the ability to translate artistic vision into executable strategies
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation in film production
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated passion for culture and storytelling with the ability to inspire and lead creative teams
