Job description
As an Operations Coordinator at Careem Riyadh, you will support day-to-day operational performance, improve processes, plan shifts and manpower, and supervise the operations team. You will ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency across operational workflows while collaborating with internal teams and guiding vendors. This role is critical for maintaining smooth operations and driving process improvements in Careem’s food, mobility, and logistics ecosystem.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor operational metrics such as order fulfilment, stock availability, picking accuracy, and quality
- Identify areas for process improvement and build standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Plan shift structures and allocate manpower according to demand patterns
- Supervise and mentor the operations team to foster a productive environment
- Conduct training sessions and spot checks to maintain quality and adherence to SOPs
- Ensure catalogs are accurate and up to date with product details, pricing, and availability
- Collaborate with logistics, commercial, and customer support teams to resolve operational challenges
- Lead end-to-end hiring processes for the operations team
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement actionable solutions
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency
Experience & skills
- 2–5 years of experience in operations coordination, team management, or process improvement
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Technical proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, CRM systems; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and process optimization capabilities
- Strong communication and vendor management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Agility and adaptability to changing operational requirements
