Job description
FTI Consulting is hiring a Senior Director for its Middle East Strategic Communications practice based in Dubai. This role will focus on delivering expert financial communications and capital markets strategy services to top-tier clients across the region. The position involves advising on IPOs, M&A, restructurings, earnings announcements, ESG matters, and investor engagement, while managing complex reputational challenges and stakeholder communications. As a senior leader, you will shape narratives that influence the financial community, guide internal teams, and contribute to business development and market leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on financial communications and investor relations matters.
- Lead strategy development for IPOs, M&A, earnings reports, and corporate positioning initiatives.
- Manage client relationships and offer insights that link corporate strategy to capital markets impact.
- Translate financial complexity into compelling communications for investors and media.
- Collaborate across global teams to deliver integrated campaigns for multinational clients.
- Develop content including earnings scripts, Q&A documents, press releases, investor decks, and stakeholder communications.
- Lead new business initiatives including proposal development and client pitches.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff, contributing to their growth and professional development.
- Participate in industry networking to strengthen the firm’s profile and attract new opportunities.
- Stay current on regional and global capital market trends, regulatory changes, and investor sentiment.
Experience & skills
- 15+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, or equity capital markets, ideally within a consultancy.
- Strong understanding of how business strategy translates into financial performance and market valuation.
- Expertise in capital markets, financial instruments, equity research, and media relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing senior-level clients and navigating boardroom dynamics.
- A creative thinker capable of distilling complexity and identifying strategic opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
