Job description
The Client Solutions Director – Events & Experiential will lead the agency’s sales and business development strategy across live events, brand experiences, and integrated experiential campaigns in Dubai. Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is accountable for converting inbound enquiries, developing new business opportunities, and delivering measurable revenue growth. The position requires hands-on involvement in the full sales cycle, from solutioning, pricing, pitching, and closure, to identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across experiential, events, and technology offerings. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams including creative, production, tech, and operations to ensure proposals and solutions are commercially robust, innovative, and aligned with client expectations. This role also entails mentoring and developing the sales team, establishing clear KPIs, coaching on consultative selling techniques, and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of experiential campaigns, live events, brand activations, and technology-enabled experiences, including event tech, immersive platforms, and digital experiences. This role is strategic, commercially focused, and pivotal to scaling the agency’s presence across high-profile regional and international projects.

Key responsibilities
- Own and convert inbound sales enquiries, ensuring timely, commercially sound responses and successful closures
- Lead the full sales cycle including solutioning, pricing, pitching, and deal closure for experiential, events, and technology services
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing and new clients
- Build and maintain a robust new business pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular reporting to senior leadership
- Partner with the CEO on defining commercial strategy, prioritizing accounts, and expanding business reach
- Lead, manage, and develop the sales/business development team, setting targets, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Coach the sales team on consultative selling, proposal quality, pitch effectiveness, and client engagement
- Serve as a senior point of contact for priority clients and key prospects, ensuring excellent client experience
- Support contract negotiations and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams for execution
- Collaborate with creative, production, tech, and operations teams to deliver innovative, high-quality experiential solutions
- Oversee proposal timelines, RFP responses, and pitch processes, ensuring alignment with agency capabilities
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, conversions, revenue, and team performance directly to the CEO
Experience & skills
- 7–10+ years of experience in sales or business development within experiential, events, or integrated agencies
- Proven track record of winning and growing agency accounts, delivering measurable revenue growth
- Experience in leading and managing sales or business development teams with a focus on high performance
- Strong knowledge and understanding of experiential campaigns, live events, and brand activations
- Exposure to event technology, immersive experiences, and digital platforms is highly desirable
- Commercial acumen with the ability to present confidently at senior client levels
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and team coaching capabilities
- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai with flexibility for client and agency engagements
