Job description
ByteDance, the parent company of globally recognized platforms such as TikTok and CapCut, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the growing portfolio of office operations in Dubai. The Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F) team, part of the wider Corporate Services department, manages the entire real estate lifecycle and aims to ensure seamless workplace environments. This role focuses on daily operations, vendor performance, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, and infrastructure optimization. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in regional facility regulations, building systems, and service excellence, while contributing to ByteDance’s high-performance culture.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Facilities Management service providers in Dubai
- Develop and implement operational playbooks for each site
- Collaborate with Admin, Catering, EHS, IT, Physical Security, and Crisis Management teams
- Monitor workplace ticketing system and implement data-driven improvements
- Act as the escalation point for landlord and property management issues
- Prepare annual FM budgets and manage financial re-projections
- Analyze financial reports and approve vendor invoices
- Negotiate and draft service agreements with vendors and monitor compliance with KPIs
- Support multiple business units with facilities-related needs
- Maintain accurate floor plans and ensure efficient space planning
- Develop and enforce facilities policies aligned with company standards
- Participate in vendor performance reviews and QBRs with IFM suppliers
Experience & skills
- Extensive experience in facilities, property, or office management in the Middle East
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, HVAC, and BMS
- Demonstrated experience in vendor/contractor management and lease review
- Budget management and financial forecasting expertise
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer service excellence
- Experience with culinary/kitchen operations support preferred
- Ability to multitask and operate in fast-paced, dynamic environments
