Job description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist β Physicians role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is responsible for leading end-to-end physician recruitment for a healthcare organization operating under Dubai Health Authority and Joint Commission International Accreditation standards. The role partners closely with the HR Director, Medical Directors, and Department Heads to forecast physician staffing needs aligned with operational requirements and expansion plans, and develops targeted local and international sourcing and headhunting strategies for consultants, specialists, and associate physicians. The position oversees the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval through offer release and onboarding handover, ensures compliance with DHA regulations, JCIA standards, and hospital policies, and coordinates with Licensing and Credentialing teams to complete primary source verification and dataflow processes. The role evaluates physician qualifications and clinical experience, facilitates interviews and medical board discussions, advises leadership on labor market trends and compensation benchmarks, manages recruitment data and reporting through HR systems such as iFusion, supports succession planning through talent mapping, and represents the organization at job fairs and professional healthcare networks to strengthen employer branding.

- Partner with HR Director, Medical Directors, and Department Heads to forecast and fulfill physician staffing needs aligned with operational and expansion plans
- Develop and implement targeted sourcing and headhunting strategies for medical consultants, specialists, and associates locally and internationally
- Benchmark physician manpower planning and compensation structures against UAE and GCC healthcare providers
- Oversee the full physician recruitment lifecycle from requisition approval to offer release and onboarding handover
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with Dubai Health Authority regulations, Joint Commission International Accreditation standards, and hospital policies
- Coordinate with Licensing and Credentialing teams to complete primary source verification and dataflow procedures
- Maintain current knowledge of licensing regulations and accreditation requirements impacting physician recruitment
- Evaluate physician qualifications, clinical experience, and credential alignment with departmental requirements
- Coordinate interview scheduling, medical board discussions, and stakeholder feedback collection
- Advise hiring leaders on market insights, candidate availability, and compensation competitiveness
- Prepare and release approved job offers and guide candidates through pre-employment medicals and onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, pipelines, and candidate profiles in iFusion or equivalent HR systems
- Generate monthly and quarterly recruitment reports including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and compliance metrics
- Support talent mapping and succession planning through maintenance of an active physician talent database
- Represent the organization at healthcare job fairs, conferences, and academic partnerships to strengthen employer branding
- Build partnerships with medical universities, residency programs, and professional associations
- Provide justification for difficult-to-fill roles and salary deviations
- Liaise with onboarding and training teams to ensure smooth physician onboarding
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorβs Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Possess recruitment or healthcare HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, or AHRI as a preferred qualification
- Demonstrate a minimum of 6 years of progressive recruitment experience including at least 2 years in a senior healthcare recruitment role
- Exhibit strong knowledge of DHA licensing frameworks, JCIA standards, and healthcare workforce regulations
- Demonstrate knowledge of physician labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and specialty distribution within the UAE and GCC
- Show hands-on experience in physician sourcing, selection, interviewing, and onboarding processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and global physician headhunting channels
- Exhibit ability to manage multiple physician requisitions simultaneously with confidentiality and compliance
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability to interpret recruitment metrics and provide insights to leadership
- Communicate effectively and professionally with senior executives, physicians, and regulatory entities
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate international licensing and credentialing processes in compliance with DHA and JCIA requirements
