Job description
The Specialist - Partner Operations role at CPX is responsible for optimizing the performance, compliance, and commercial value of the organizationās cybersecurity and technology partner ecosystem. The role focuses on managing partner funding, incentive programs, and tier governance across leading vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Fortinet. Responsibilities include securing and managing Marketing Development Funds, rebates, and joint go-to-market investments; ensuring audit-ready claims and compliance; maintaining elite-tier partner statuses through certification and reporting management; and enhancing deal profitability through pricing and incentive analysis. The role also delivers performance analytics, executive-level reporting, and dashboards while acting as the operational bridge between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Vendor Managers, and Procurement to drive alignment, pipeline growth, and partner enablement initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, secure, and manage Marketing Development Funds and joint go-to-market investments from strategic partners
- Maximize partner incentive and rebate programs linked to certifications, sales targets, and solution focus areas
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Vendor Account Managers to ensure accurate claims submission and audit readiness
- Support partner onboarding, lifecycle management, and operational execution of partner program requirements
- Maintain and enhance elite-tier partner statuses through certification tracking, enablement milestones, and renewals
- Ensure completion of vendor-required reporting, KPIs, quarterly business plans, and audit deliverables
- Analyze partner pricing models, discount structures, and rebate mechanisms to improve margins and profitability
- Support bid management and procurement teams with partner pricing intelligence and cost optimization strategies
- Develop dashboards tracking partner-sourced and influenced pipeline performance
- Prepare executive presentations for QBRs, vendor reviews, and internal performance updates
- Ensure data integrity across CRM systems, finance platforms, and vendor portals
- Act as an operational bridge between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Vendor Management teams
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in partner operations, channel management, or vendor program administration within cybersecurity or enterprise IT
- Apply strong knowledge of partner incentive structures including MDF, rebates, and tier governance
- Demonstrate experience managing partner programs from major cybersecurity or enterprise technology vendors
- Apply financial acumen to analyze pricing, margins, and incentive impact on deals
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hold a Bachelorās degree in Business, Technology, or Finance
- Vendor program certifications or ITIL certification preferred
