The Group Senior Product Manager in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is accountable for understanding DP Worldâs overarching objectives and translating them into new customer-facing products that generate revenue and improve bottom line, within a context of international trade, ecommerce, and logistics. The role performs competitive benchmark analysis, analyzes customer needs using surveys and quantitative data, and applies sound judgement to decide product and feature investments. The role socializes product ideas and key decisions in strategic discussions and ideation sessions with business leaders and forms productive, trusting relationships with them. It works with junior product managers to delegate tasks effectively and ensure the coming together of features into a holistic product not just across technology, but across sales, operations, finance, and commercial. The role translates high-level business requirements into detailed technical specs and aggressively unblocks engineering teams to execute fast; exposure in building and managing SaaS platforms is an added advantage. The role defines thoughtful, detailed, and executable rollout strategies for new features, releases, and products, writes business cases, performs ROIs, prioritizes and writes user stories, and partners with the product development team to break initiatives down and plan them into releases. It cultivates product positioning and benefit statements and partners with marketing and communications to create collateral that generates excitement and makes adoption easy while communicating product benefits. The role measures performance of product launches and iterates to success, focuses on building business value (not just features), and develops innovative and unique product offerings by leveraging knowledge of key market challenges that exist in competitor products. It facilitates cross-functional communication and decision-making while developing stakeholder relationships in various locations. The role acts as an ambassador for DP World, promoting behaviors aligned with DP Worldâs Founderâs Principles, values, and culture, ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities, and understanding and following DP Worldâs Code of Conduct and Ethics policies, alongside performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelorâs degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology, with an MBA (with Supply Chain work or ecommerce experience) as a big plus. Experience required includes 14â15 years total experience with 9â10 years of product management experience in technology companies and a background in international trade, ecommerce, and logistics. The role requires ability to think strategically while being in the details and to work and influence across diverse internal and external stakeholders to bring products to fruition and add business value, including ability to handle ambiguity, form clear thoughts, and push forward in deadline-driven environments while multitasking and applying quantitative analysis and prioritization judgement. It also requires demonstrated ability to convert customer needs and pain points into innovative products, including experience incorporating product and operations feedback to craft long-term vision and quarterly roadmaps, and business acumen with curiosity to become an expert on complex products.

Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorâs degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology
