Job description
The RCM Specialist in Rabigh will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Reliability-Centered Maintenance strategies for refinery and petrochemical assets. This role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical equipment while driving maintenance best practices and performance improvements across operations.

Asset criticality assessment and PM effectiveness review
Lifecycle cost modeling and KPI tracking
CMMS management (SAP PM), maintenance plans, task lists, BOM updates
Compliance with OEM guidelines and industry standards (API 580/581, IEC, ISO)
Technical support for chronic failure resolution
Leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement RCM programs for rotating, static, electrical, and instrumentation assets
- Conduct RCM workshops, asset criticality assessments, and failure mode analyses
- Optimize preventive maintenance strategies and define condition monitoring requirements
- Ensure all maintenance strategies comply with OEM guidelines and industry standards (API 580/581, IEC, ISO)
- Prepare and maintain SAP PM master data including task lists, maintenance plans, and BOMs
- Provide technical support for operations and maintenance teams addressing chronic failures
- Review preventive maintenance effectiveness, perform gap analysis, and recommend strategy improvements
- Lead and mentor teams while driving performance improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and asset integrity departments to ensure asset reliability objectives are met
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of relevant technical engineering experience in refinery or petrochemical sectors
- Deep knowledge of ISO 55000, Reliability Engineering, and Asset Integrity
- High competency in RCM, RCA, FMEA, RAM modeling, and RBI
- Strong understanding of CMMS (SAP), KPIs, and lifecycle cost modeling
- Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant certifications: CMRP, CRL, ISO 55000 Practitioner/Lead Auditor
