Job description
The Sales Supervisor role at SADAFCO in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for managing a team of Salesmen and supervising all Sales and Distribution activities across assigned routes to ensure achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators in line with Sales & Distribution policies. The role involves assisting the Area Sales Manager or Branch Manager in setting and achieving sales targets, guiding and motivating the sales team, and controlling route operations within agreed cost and operational parameters. The position requires gathering and maintaining market and competitor intelligence, executing the company’s replenishment program to ensure optimal product availability and freshness, and managing shelf life, rotation, and wastage control at the point of sale. The Sales Supervisor executes agreements with Modern Trade and Wholesale customers, ensures effective journey planning and route optimization using MSFA (Mobile Sales Force Automation), and maintains strong customer recognition across areas of responsibility. Responsibilities include initiating sales to new customers, enforcing company credit and collection policies, ensuring maintenance of company assets and vehicles, and overseeing people management in line with SADAFCO HR policies, including recruitment, training, and development. The role also requires accurate administration, reporting, daily MSFA endorsements, and ensuring professional appearance standards for vehicles and salesmen. The position applies across all sales channels and demands strong analytical capability, computer literacy, and operational discipline.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise Salesmen to execute Sales & Distribution activities across assigned routes in line with company policies
- Assist the ASM/BM in setting sales targets and motivating the sales team to achieve sales targets within agreed costs and operational parameters
- Monitor and control sales routes to ensure effective secondary distribution and KPI achievement
- Collect, maintain, and share market and competitor activity information with ASM/BM to support informed decision-making
- Ensure execution of the company Replenishment program to maintain optimal product availability, quantity, and freshness
- Execute agreements with Modern Trade and Wholesale customers and maintain strong business relationships in the assigned area
- Optimize daily journey planning and route efficiency in coordination with salesmen and ASM/BM to maximize productivity
- Monitor product shelf life at point of sale, ensuring proper rotation, reserved space utilization, and prevention of expired products
- Initiate and organize sales to new customers in alignment with Sales & Distribution plans and relevant departments
- Execute approved credit policies and manage credit and collections to ensure timely customer payments
- Ensure company assets and vehicles are well maintained and initiate repairs or replacements when required
- Manage people resources by ensuring adequate staffing levels, providing training to new recruits and current staff, and complying with HR policies
- Ensure accurate and timely administration, data entry, and reporting using Mobile Sales Force Automation (MSFA)
- Conduct daily MSFA endorsements with Salesmen by reviewing performance and identifying follow-up actions
- Ensure professional appearance standards for vehicles and salesmen uniforms to represent the company appropriately
Experience & skills
- Hold a minimum high school diploma or certificate
- Possess a completed vocational degree in business, marketing, or finance
- Have a minimum of 5 years of Van Sales experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar Sales Supervisor role
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills relevant to sales performance and route management
- Possess people management experience with the ability to lead, train, and supervise sales teams
- Be computer literate with the ability to use Mobile Sales Force Automation (MSFA) systems
- Be physically fit and meet the minimum age requirement of 22 years
- Demonstrate proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills preferred
- Comply with company policies related to credit management, asset maintenance, and professional conduct
