Job description
A Lead Developer Enablement Specialist is required in Abu Dhabi to join an enterprise architecture and platform engineering team for a major initiative in the Middle East. This high-impact role focuses on enhancing developer experience, streamlining workflows, and driving modern cloud-native software architecture. The successful candidate will architect robust, scalable solutions using technologies like .NET and Python, foster innovation through internal developer platforms, and implement CI/CD and DevSecOps practices. The role combines deep technical expertise, cloud integration skills, and cross-functional collaboration with a strong developer-centric approach to elevate software delivery across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures aligned with strategic objectives.
- Lead standardization of deployment patterns for .NET and Python development.
- Engage with developers to identify and eliminate workflow pain points, boosting productivity.
- Champion tools and practices that elevate developer experience across the organization.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to embed developer-friendly best practices into cloud-native environments.
- Develop reusable solution patterns to foster standardization and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of projects in compliance with ITIL and organizational policies.
- Implement secure CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Advocate for DevSecOps practices and integrate security throughout the SDLC.
- Architect internal developer platforms that support self-service cloud environments.
- Facilitate workshops, gather stakeholder requirements, and promote modern development practices.
- Create detailed documentation for all tools, practices, and solutions.
- Lead training initiatives to upskill teams on new tools and architectural approaches.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software development and solution architecture.
- Deep expertise in .NET and Python for scalable application development.
- Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, and Terraform for cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with developer tooling including APIM, Kong, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Power BI, AKS, and EKS.
- Demonstrated experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English (C2 level).
