Job description
The PR Events & Experience Manager at Sephora Middle East is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and executing all regional events and experiential marketing initiatives across the Middle East. Reporting to the PR & Events Director, the role manages the full 360-degree lifecycle of events and experiential marketing campaigns, including planning, execution, measurement, and reporting. The position requires defining and executing a full-year events calendar aligned with business objectives, key thematics, KCPs, and key marketing moments. The role involves managing pre-production logistics, onsite event execution, stakeholder coordination, vendor and agency management, and ensuring compliance with legal permit regulations and government authority requirements. The PR Events & Experience Manager oversees budgeting, risk assessment, vendor selection, venue planning, and customer experience delivery while ensuring seamless coordination between internal Sephora teams, global stakeholders, brands, suppliers, agencies, and external entities. The role includes post-event analysis, performance measurement, and reporting to optimize future campaigns and ensure brand impact. The position also includes contract negotiation with procurement and legal teams, sponsorship and activation planning, documentation management, and production timeline ownership. The role operates within Sephora’s beauty retail ecosystem, managing experiential marketing initiatives across nearly 500 brands, retail environments, and regional markets, supporting business growth, brand positioning, and customer engagement strategies.

Key responsibilities
- Define, plan and execute the full-year events and experiential marketing calendar aligned with Sephora Middle East business objectives, key thematics, KCPs and key marketing moments
- Manage all aspects of event production including pre-production planning, logistics coordination, onsite execution, and post-event analysis and reporting
- Liaise with internal teams, global stakeholders, suppliers, agencies, brands, and external entities to ensure smooth planning and execution of events and experiences
- Develop workback schedules and planning timelines including coordination of legal permits and regulatory approvals with government authorities
- Oversee event budgets, risk assessments, and troubleshooting while ensuring quality delivery across venues, suppliers, and customer experience touchpoints
- Lead project planning and cross-functional team coordination to ensure efficient and successful execution of all events and experiential marketing initiatives
- Conduct post-event analysis, measure KPIs, evaluate performance metrics, and optimize future event strategies
- Lead contract negotiation in collaboration with procurement and legal teams for event suppliers, venues, and production partners
- Create and manage production timelines ensuring stakeholder requirements and business objectives are met
- Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities, activations, and partnership opportunities aligned with brand strategy
- Maintain accurate documentation across all production phases including financial milestones and project administration
- Manage yearly event budgets and financial planning to optimize resources and ensure project delivery quality
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate minimum 5+ years experience in PR and events management within agency or client-side environments
- Possess experience managing PR campaigns across multiple marketing channels and experiential platforms
- Show experience working within media, beauty, or retail environments with beauty sector knowledge preferred
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel for reporting and presentations
- Possess Arabic and English language proficiency as mandatory requirements
- Demonstrate experience in budget management, event planning, and project management for large-scale events
- Show ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to travel within the Middle East region
