The AI Solutions Lead/Manager (UAE Nationals) at Thales will be responsible for managing and supporting the growth of the Artificial Intelligence team with a strong focus on defense, aerospace, and digital transformation. The role includes technical oversight of AI/ML model design, deployment, and performance optimization for real-world applications. It requires leading cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and researchers, defining AI strategy and roadmap, and integrating AI solutions across business lines. The candidate will also manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables while fostering a culture of continuous learning. Collaboration with external clients, partners, and stakeholders is essential to align solutions with business needs and demonstrate AI capabilities. Technical expertise includes Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, cloud platforms, MLOps, big data stacks, and defense-specific technologies such as Radar and Electronic Warfare. The role supports commercial activities, bids, and project execution and contributes to the preparation of the Digital and Engineering department budget and operations.
