Job description
Responsible for managing, facilitating, controlling, and supporting the smooth and accurate execution of bank projects according to Riyadh Bank Project Management Methodology. Ensures deliverables and milestones are met within budget and timeframe. Follows departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions for controlled and consistent work. Implements day-to-day EPMO operations to ensure compliance with standards. Develops project scope, approach, charter, plan, and conducts post-implementation reviews. Leads project delivery, scope, timelines, budget, time, cost, resource, risk, and vendor management. Tracks and reports project health, change control, issues, and risks. Liaises with stakeholders for initiative development and prioritization, ensuring compliance with EPMO standards through all lifecycle stages. Prepares all project documents using EPMO templates, mobilizes project teams, ensures high-quality deliverables, manages BA resources, monitors task execution, escalates complex issues, and provides analytical information on costs to the Project Steering Committee. Manages external vendors and internal developers, reviews deliverables, prepares steering committee presentations, evaluates vendor invoices, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement aligned with international best practices. Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies. Undertakes other related duties as required. Requires strong banking/financial services experience, expertise in project management, translating business needs into technical/functional requirements, and knowledge of banking systems and operations.

Key responsibilities
- Manage, facilitate, and control the execution of bank projects according to Riyadh Bank Project Management Methodology
- Implement day-to-day EPMO operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
- Develop project scope, approach, charter, plan, and conduct post-implementation reviews alongside functional areas
- Lead project delivery including scope, timelines, budget, time, cost, resource, risk, and vendor management
- Track and report on project health, change control, issues, and risks; maintain stakeholder communication
- Directly liaise with stakeholders to support initiative development and prioritization within functions
- Ensure compliance with EPMO standards and processes through all lifecycle stages
- Create project documents using EPMO templates and mobilize project teams during initiation
- Ensure deliverables to business units and vendors meet quality and stakeholder expectations
- Proactively manage project task timelines for milestone completion and critical path management
- Manage assigned time of EPMO Business Analysts and train them in PM tools and techniques
- Monitor execution progress against timeline and scope, confirming acceptance or deviations
- Track and report progress of projects and resolve issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Monitor actual costs against budget and provide analytical information to Project Steering Committee
- Manage external vendors and internal developers to achieve agreed project outcomes
- Review and evaluate submitted project deliverables for completeness and alignment with objectives
- Prepare presentations to Project Steering Committee on project development, cost, and issues
- Review vendor invoices, assess deliverables, and authorize payment or rejection
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and practices considering international best practice
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management policies and procedures
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or suitable degree, preferably at post-graduate level
- International project management certification, e.g., PMP
- 6-8 years of project management experience
- Strong banking/financial services experience as a Program Manager
- Experience with PM tools such as Microsoft Project, Match ware, Mind View, Rational Plan Multi Project, Project Kickstart, MS Project Server, Atlassian
- Hands-on experience preparing project management templates including business and functional requirement documents
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, MS Visio, and MS Project
- Expert-level project management skills and ability to translate business needs into technical and functional requirements
- Knowledge of banking systems and applications preferred
- Knowledge of banking operations and requirements preferred
- Fluent in English
