Job description
The Senior Associate, International Business Support at QNB Group in Doha is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining SME Banking processes, procedures, and policies while managing the service performance of the Relationship Management section. The role includes overseeing internal projects to strengthen the SME business, managing external and internal reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance and legal sign-off for all policies. The incumbent serves as the main point of contact for SME portfolio and reporting issues, develops and maintains performance metrics and dashboards, and collaborates with Operations and IT to embed required capabilities in processes and systems. The position also reviews SME product and portfolio performance to identify improvement opportunities, works with product and marketing teams to implement campaigns, prepares business cases for compliance, legal, and central bank approvals, monitors SME Relationship Manager and Officer performance, designs overall performance management frameworks, develops automated MIS, and establishes KPIs to measure individual performance within the SME business.

- Oversee development and maintenance of servicing capabilities and support within the unit and across other units
- Ensure compliance and obtain legal sign-off for all new policies and procedures
- Act as the main point of contact for SME portfolio and reporting-related issues
- Develop and maintain SME performance metrics and dashboards
- Work with Operations and IT to embed required capabilities in processes and systems
- Review performance of SME products and portfolio, identify opportunities, and create action plans to improve overall SME banking profitability
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to identify campaign opportunities and implement marketing activities
- Prepare business cases for Compliance, Legal, and Central Bank approvals for campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Monitor performance of SME Relationship Managers and Officers
- Design overall performance management concepts
- Develop and automate performance MIS systems
- Develop KPIs to measure individual and team performance within the SME business
Experience & skills
- University graduate preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration; Masters preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic preferable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and financial management skills
- Self-driven with well-developed leadership, motivational, and team-building skills
- Ability to identify need for change, adaptable and flexible in anticipating and realizing market opportunities
- Understanding of linkages driving profit within SME Banking
- In-depth knowledge of products, services, and delivery channels available to SMEs
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
