Job description
Lead Business Improvement Associate responsible for delivering Cargo business solutions aligned with operational requirements, ensuring availability and effective use of systems and automated interfaces. Evaluates tool usage and identifies non-compliance or areas for improvement, supports sourcing tools and conducting Proof of Concept, and defines rollout plans for changes across warehouse and other facilities. Approves and certifies products post User Acceptance Testing, leads process/system improvements to meet cargo operational standards efficiently and cost-effectively. Administers and synergizes cargo systems with operational requirements, benchmarks performance against industry standards, assesses feasibility of external customer recommendations, and manages scheduling of business/system changes. Conducts process audits, resolves critical system issues, analyzes cases, and recommends preventive measures to enhance system, tool, and interface reliability.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure availability of systems and automated interfaces to meet operational targets
- Evaluate usage of tools and solutions by user community, highlighting non-compliance and improvements
- Support managers in sourcing tools and conducting Proof of Concept
- Define rollout plans for process/system changes across warehouse and other facilities
- Approve and certify products post User Acceptance Testing for production implementation
- Lead improvements in business and system processes to meet operational requirements efficiently
- Administer and coordinate cargo systems to achieve performance efficiencies
- Benchmark systems, SLAs, work instructions, and processes against industry standards
- Conduct feasibility studies on external customer recommendations for system/process changes
- Manage scheduling of business/system changes to ensure operational continuity
- Conduct process audits and assess system processes for SLA and SOP compliance
- Collaborate with operations to resolve critical process/system issues
- Ensure timely resolution of internal and external customer cases within SLA norms
- Assist Business Technology Improvement Controller in analyzing changes and supporting implementation
- Recommend preventive measures by analyzing reported issues around systems, tools, and interfaces
Experience & skills
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operational Management
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Cargo handling systems/environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain, air cargo industry, and warehouse operations
- Ability to translate business/operational processes into system requirements
- Analytical ability for interface-level testing between systems (agents and airlines)
- Proficient data collection and analysis skills
- Good English written and spoken communication
- Proficient presentation and facilitation skills
