Job description
The Solution Area Specialists – Cloud & AI role at Microsoft in Dubai focuses on driving Azure adoption and AI transformation across enterprise customers in the EMEA region. Acting as trusted advisors and subject matter experts, specialists guide organizations in modernizing infrastructure, optimizing operations, and accelerating AI adoption through Microsoft’s Azure platform. Responsibilities include leading customer engagements, conducting technical demos and whiteboarding sessions, qualifying and managing MACC opportunities, and driving end-to-end execution of strategic deals. The role involves managing forecasts and pipelines, engaging with decision-makers using ROI and TCO models, and orchestrating across multiple teams and partners to deliver impactful solutions. Specialists are expected to combine technical fluency with sales acumen, enabling enterprises to fully leverage Azure’s AI, cloud-native, and data modernization capabilities.

Key responsibilities
- Act as Azure sales lead, guiding enterprise customers through cloud and AI transformation
- Lead customer engagements, including demos, solution storytelling, and whiteboarding
- Drive strategic discussions with executives to prioritize and accelerate MACC opportunities
- Qualify, assess, and direct strategy for MACC deals with scalable consumption plans
- Manage forecast and pipeline across early to closing stages
- Use tools such as IAP, LXP, ROI, and TCO models to support decision-making
- Coordinate across ATU, CSU, ISD, SPT, GPS, and partner teams to ensure seamless execution
- Drive partner attach and co-sell opportunities throughout MACC lifecycle
- Mentor teams on integrating security and compliance into sales pursuits
- Engage and influence decision-makers with business cases for Azure adoption
- Inspire and lead virtual teams with technical fluency in virtualization, cloud-native, and AI
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience (7+ years preferred for senior profiles)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Experience working with complex enterprise customers
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure, data, and AI platforms
- Experience selling business solutions focused on cloud-native, AI, or data analytics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead customer conversations, solution storytelling, and deal strategy
- Familiarity with sales tools such as Azure Pricing Calculator, ROI, and TCO models
- Experience managing pipelines and forecasts in enterprise sales environments
- Master’s degree (MBA, IT, or related) preferred
