Job description
The Strategy Analyst role is part of Visa’s CEMEA Corporate Strategy team, which is responsible for shaping Visa’s long-term enterprise strategy and solving complex, enterprise-level business questions by partnering with executives and business leaders across the organization. The role is based at Visa’s CEMEA headquarters in Dubai and requires prior working and living experience in Sub-Saharan Africa markets. The position contributes to initiatives spanning go-to-market strategy, product strategy, and partnership and acquisition opportunities, many of which are internationally focused. The team also develops competitive intelligence and thought leadership on emerging trends in payments and technology. The Analyst independently leads defined components of strategic initiatives, breaks down complex business problems into structured components, formulates hypotheses, and supports strategy workstreams. The role involves driving deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate differentiated insights, developing strategic frameworks to prioritize initiatives and evaluate investment opportunities for strategic and financial value, and ensuring strategies translate into tangible commercial impact with clear implementation paths and stakeholder buy-in. The Analyst produces clear, simple, and impactful executive-level communications designed to persuade and influence senior decision makers while contributing to team effectiveness and future talent attraction within the corporate strategy function.

- Independently lead and design components of corporate strategy initiatives that deliver sustainable competitive advantage and tangible performance impact
- Break down complex enterprise-level business problems, define structured analytical approaches, formulate hypotheses, and support strategy project workstreams
- Drive deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate differentiated insights supporting strategic recommendations
- Develop creative, novel, disruptive, yet practical and implementable strategic solutions to business challenges

Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have 2 or more years of work experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or an equivalent field
- Possess prior experience working and living in the Sub-Saharan Africa region
- Demonstrate experience in strategy development, analytical problem-solving, and executive-level communication
