Job description
The SEO Content Manager at Property Finder is responsible for owning and executing the SEO-driven content strategy across multiple markets to strengthen organic search presence and guide property seekers throughout their journey. The role focuses on planning, producing, optimizing, and measuring high-quality, search-optimized content including guides, community content, insights, long-form articles, landing pages, and data-driven content. Reporting to the PLG Director, the position combines editorial leadership, SEO expertise, and operational management to ensure content meets SEO best practices, quality standards, and user intent requirements. The role oversees editorial operations, content calendars, guidelines, and performance tracking while collaborating closely with writers, editors, designers, SEO specialists, product teams, UX, brand, PR, data, research, and technical SEO teams. Responsibilities also include applying E-E-A-T principles, schema markup, content scalability, experimentation with new formats, monitoring Google algorithm updates, leveraging analytics tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, and Ahrefs, and driving continuous organic growth through data insights, audits, optimization, and innovation within a high-traffic real estate technology platform.

- Build and own the SEO content strategy across multiple markets covering guides, community content, insights, long-form articles, landing pages, and data-driven content
- Develop content frameworks and topic clusters aligned with user intent, keyword opportunities, and business objectives
- Prioritize content initiatives based on search demand, competition, and impact potential
- Manage the full editorial SEO workflow from ideation and briefing to editing, publishing, and performance tracking
- Lead, coach, and manage writers, editors, freelancers, and agencies to ensure quality and consistency
- Define, maintain, and evolve editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and SEO content standards
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices including metadata, structure, internal linking, E-E-A-T, schema, and readability
- Review and optimize existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversion performance
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to refine templates, SERP targeting, and scalable content systems
- Track content performance using SEO and analytics tools and lead content audits
- Propose pruning, consolidation, republishing, and optimization strategies based on performance insights
- Report on content KPIs, trends, opportunities, and growth outcomes
- Work with Product and Technical SEO teams to deliver content through search-friendly templates and optimize page experience
- Collaborate with UX, Brand, Off-Page SEO, PR, Data, and Research teams on user-first and linkable content assets
- Stay current on search trends, Google algorithm updates, content formats, and user behavior changes
- Test new formats and experiments including interactive content, video scripts, community-driven content, and data visualizations
Experience & skills
- Possess 5+ years of experience in SEO-driven content roles, content management, or editorial leadership
- Demonstrate deep understanding of keyword research, search intent, SERP analysis, and on-page SEO techniques
- Exhibit excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to accuracy, clarity, and structure
- Show experience managing content teams, freelancers, or agencies
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO and analytics tools
- Exhibit ability to build scalable content systems, processes, and governance models
- Demonstrate familiarity with CMS platforms, structured content systems, and content operations workflows
- Show knowledge of schema markup, content A/B testing, and E-E-A-T frameworks
- Demonstrate experience with AI-assisted content workflows and content automation tools
- Show experience within high-traffic consumer platforms, marketplaces, or real estate environments
