Job description
Based in Dubai, UAE, the Marketing Videographer at Provident works within the Marketing Department to handle a variety of project types across different recording environments according to company needs in one of the worldâs most competitive marketplaces. The role records events and independently conducts interviews with agents; films video on set and on location; collaborates with the marketing team and agents to plan video shoots; sets up and takes down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment; edits footage after recording; adds computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to footage; and prepares background film. The position requires the ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments, multitask with many crew members at once, demonstrate creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail, and apply strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and production team members. It further requires knowledge of post-production techniques; physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods; and understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting. Qualifications include 2 yearsâ experience in the same or similar role, proficiency in English (written and spoken), and a Bachelorâs degree in Broadcasting, film or communications; additional certifications in editing, screenwriting, cinematography, and media production are a plus.
