Job description
The People Partner is responsible for implementing core HR activities in alignment with Sephora Middle Eastâs HR strategy, including recruitment, pre/onboarding, payroll inputs, transfers, promotions, employee records, employee relations, and performance management. The role supports the performance management system and employee retention, acts as process business partner for talent management, succession planning, and performance management, and engages senior business and HR/Education stakeholders to cultivate a strong talent culture. Key duties include supporting store leaders to define future skills and behaviours, advising on closing capability gaps through recruitment and development, delivering a superior stakeholder experience as a trusted business partner, supporting the HR Director in building a customer-driven organization, meeting with Sephora Champions to enhance culture, and ensuring proper rollout of the EVP across HR processes with oversight of the EVP online module completion. The People Partner manages the annual talent identification and review cycle (OMR) including talent calibration, succession planning, identification of high potentials, assessment of flight risks and mobility, and completion of employee talent profiles; designs strategies to attract, assess, and retain talent; supports assessment and recruitment of senior retail roles; partners with the Education Team to enhance leadership capabilities and diversify talent pipelines via high-potential programs, coaching, 360° feedback, and embedded initiatives; drives tribe engagement by developing high performers as successors; advises on maximizing talent and managing risk in change; monitors effectiveness of talent management with insights and recommendations; oversees onboarding/offboarding; builds a brand-focused environment and fast-paced, engaging culture; supports engagement survey rollout; manages employee relations, grievances, and escalations; reviews and enhances performance management processes; maps underperformance and advises managers to foster a high-performing culture; fulfills retail recruitment plans, tracks headcount with Retail and People Manager, sources across channels, and manages the recruitment pipeline and interviews with the retail team. The role requires fluency in Arabic and English, a strong FMCG/Retail/Fashion & Apparel background, creativity, self-motivation, and alignment with Sephoraâs culture and EVP.

Experience & skills
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- 3â4 years of experience in a People Partner role within medium to large organizations
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Strong background in FMCG/Retail/Fashion & Apparel (front and back office)
- Passion for people, creativity, and self-motivation with ability to work independently
