Job description
The Senior Analytics & AI Sales Specialist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a key enterprise sales role focused on driving business transformation through data, AI, and analytics solutions. Operating within AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), the specialist partners closely with internal teams including account managers, solution architects, marketing, partners, and customer success to target strategic sales opportunities. This role entails developing executive and technical relationships with enterprise clients to deliver tailored, scalable data strategies leveraging AWS's cloud technologies. Responsibilities include revenue generation, market penetration, and customer adoption of modern analytics and AI capabilities, with an emphasis on enterprise-wide outcomes and engagement at the C-suite and technical stakeholder levels. This customer-facing role requires deep industry expertise in cloud and enterprise solutions, as well as the ability to operate autonomously and deliver quarterly sales targets.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts for AWS Analytics and AI solutions
- Develop and execute a territory coverage plan aligned with sales targets
- Engage with executive and technical stakeholders to understand strategic business objectives
- Build scalable sales programs and plays to support broader AWS customer-facing teams
- Collaborate with internal AWS teams including marketing, solution architecture, customer success, and partners
- Pursue and incorporate customer feedback into AWS analytics portfolio development
- Support growth in both new and existing enterprise customers, including securing lighthouse accounts
- Guide customers on data unification strategies and implementation of modern data solutions
Experience & skills
- 5+ years of full sales cycle experience in technology sales, business development, or sales consulting
- 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software, cloud computing services, infrastructure, or networking solutions
- Bachelorās degree or equivalent education
- Experience in driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Background in engineering, computer science, or MIS is preferred
