The Principal – Digital Strategy Consulting role at Strategy& involves playing a significant role in growing the strategy consulting business within the Middle East as part of PwC’s global professional services network. Strategy& combines foresight, tangible know-how, technology, and scale to deliver differentiated, transformative strategies that are embedded with frontline teams to ensure effective delivery. The Principal is responsible for managing senior client relationships, leading complex strategy consulting projects, and demonstrating deep content expertise in relevant sectors, with a strong emphasis on digital strategy and strategy development. The role requires serving as a comprehensive Senior Project Manager by planning, organizing, and driving project execution, guiding junior team members, developing key hypotheses and insights, defining and managing data-collection initiatives, performing data analysis, translating findings into recommendations and solutions, and ensuring integration of project components against defined project goals. The Principal contributes to strengthening existing client relationships, setting client agendas with stakeholders, providing counsel on where Strategy& can create value, leading delivery teams, generating new leads over time, marketing and selling work, leveraging personal and firm relationships, and contributing to practice building by attracting, retaining, and developing highly qualified staff. The position supports the mission of turning vision into reality through pragmatic yet powerful strategy execution that drives growth and long-term results across organizations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the wider Middle East region.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as a comprehensive Senior Project Manager by planning, organizing, and driving end-to-end project execution while guiding and directing junior team members across multiple concurrent project components
- Manage and strengthen senior client relationships by ensuring dedicated senior coverage, collaborating with stakeholders to set client agendas, advising on value creation opportunities, and leading consulting delivery teams
- Provide thought leadership and creative insights to identify, clarify, and resolve complex strategic and digital strategy issues critical to clients’ long-term success
- Develop key hypotheses and insights, define and manage all data-collection initiatives, conduct detailed data analysis, meet with clients to establish requirements, and ensure ongoing assignment progress
- Translate analytical findings into integrated recommendations and practical solutions, ensuring alignment and integration of all project components against defined project goals
- Grow the Middle East strategy consulting business by marketing and selling work, generating leads, and leveraging personal contacts alongside the firm’s existing client relationships
- Contribute to building and scaling the practice by attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating a team of highly qualified consulting professionals
Experience & skills
- Have a minimum of ten years of postgraduate work experience with at least five years of experience in a strategy consulting environment
- Demonstrate experience in strategy development with a deep background and strong credibility within a relevant industry gained through consulting or client-side expertise
- Exhibit experience managing senior-level client relationships and a proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Show strong project management skills with a focus on driving complex projects and managing project teams and client teams simultaneously
- Present a track record demonstrating sustained progression and consistency in employment
- Possess functional experience within the relevant industry supporting strategy and consulting engagements
- Demonstrate experience in marketing and selling consulting work and contributing to business growth through lead generation and relationship leveraging
- Exhibit strong leadership capability with the ability to make an impact in a growing organization and operate effectively at senior and executive levels
- Demonstrate the ability to inspire others and support the development and success of junior and mid-level consulting professionals
