Job description
The Manager - Total Facilities Management (TFM) at Dubai Parks and Resorts, part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations and maintenance of all MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, water filtration, and pumping systems. The role includes ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations and Dubai Parks standards across various technical, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, waste management, and recycling functions. The position requires coordination of sustainability practices, energy-saving systems, preventive and corrective maintenance via CMMS/CAFM, vendor management, road and footpath maintenance, and effective supervision of landscape contractors. The Manager is also accountable for safety system audits (e.g., fire alarms, lifeguard alerts), accurate reporting, managing FM teams, overseeing external contracts, and ensuring all services are delivered efficiently and safely within budget and regulatory frameworks. The role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage in a dynamic entertainment environment.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all MEP systems including pumps, HVAC, filtration, electrical, and plumbing
- Ensure delivery of park cleaning, waste management, pest control, and landscaping services to high standards
- Manage energy systems and implement sustainability practices like water reuse and energy-saving systems
- Prepare and submit all reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Manage all facilities management operations and coordinate colleague tasks
- Lead and implement operational changes to minimize disruption to park activities
- Oversee green waste disposal and recycling processes
- Monitor and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs using CMMS/CAFM
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for maintenance of critical infrastructure
- Ensure all safety systems are functional and conduct required safety audits
- Supervise landscape contractors and maintain all roads and footpaths
- Maintain good housekeeping and asset care across work areas and machinery
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Parks & Resorts safety and UAE technical regulations
- Support and lead internal teams across various resort areas
- Understand and communicate facilities management policies and procedures
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in facilities management with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated experience in project supervision delivered on time and budget
- Working knowledge of procurement, negotiation, and management of external contracts
- Good understanding of regulatory compliance standards in the UAE
- Strong health and safety management experience
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and web-based systems
- Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced, entertainment-focused environment
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and coordination capabilities
