Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company is developing a world-class entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia. The Senior Manager, Procurement will lead procurement functions to support strategic projects, ensuring sourcing activities are executed efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, conducting market research, collaborating with project teams, mentoring procurement staff, monitoring performance, and implementing best practices to optimize operations.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring quality and cost objectives are met.
- Oversee the complete procurement cycle, from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with project management teams to understand procurement needs and effectively allocate resources.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Monitor procurement performance, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement operations.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong expertise in procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive procurement initiatives successfully.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools, with a solid understanding of data analysis.
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
