The Channel Sales Support Manager is responsible for providing technical sales support and partner enablement within ABB Smart Buildings division, supporting optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security, and comfort across various building types including single-family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The role involves supporting ABB Smart Buildings solutions including HVAC control, lighting control, shutters, security systems, energy distribution solutions, DIN rail products, enclosures, emergency lighting, industrial plugs and sockets, and conventional wiring accessories. The position supports integrated digital technologies and building automation solutions designed to optimize energy distribution, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies. The role requires providing technical advice on enquiry specifications, supporting customers, channels, and sales engineers regarding ABB products, systems, and applications. Responsibilities include managing partner inquiries, resolving issues by coordinating with internal sales, operations, and marketing teams, supporting onboarding activities for new partners, reviewing documentation, and setting up system access. The Channel Sales Support Manager assists in preparing partner enablement materials, product updates, and sales collateral. The role involves leading diagnostic studies, performing analytical assessments, determining suitable technical solutions, and proposing solutions for complex enquiries. The role also includes implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, governance frameworks, rules, policies, and tools related to operations and project execution. The position requires people leadership, coaching, staffing, and team development aligned with HR policies. The role supports scalable smart building technologies and digital solutions that deliver sustainable and financial benefits, supporting real estate developers, owners, and investors. The position reports to Product Marketing Director and requires experience in panel building activities, familiarity with ABB tools and platforms, and strong technical knowledge in smart building and energy distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support by offering technical advice and reviewing enquiry specifications for customers, channels, and sales engineers regarding ABB products, systems, and smart building applications including HVAC, lighting, security, and energy distribution solutions.
- Manage partner inquiries and resolve technical and operational issues by coordinating with internal teams including sales, operations, and marketing while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Support onboarding of new partners by reviewing documentation, setting up system access, and facilitating integration into ABB partner ecosystem.
- Assist in preparation of partner enablement materials, product updates, training documentation, and sales collateral to support channel sales activities.
- Lead diagnostic studies by performing analytical assessments and determining most suitable technical solutions for complex customer enquiries and project requirements.
- Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, governance frameworks, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations and project execution.
- Provide leadership and development for team members by organizing resources, coaching staff, motivating teams, and ensuring alignment with HR policies and operational objectives.
- Support smart building technology deployment including energy efficiency solutions, building automation, digital technologies, and sustainable infrastructure solutions across customer segments.
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with strong technical knowledge of smart building and energy distribution solutions.
- Possess minimum 5 years experience in panel building activities including electrical panel systems and related engineering applications.
- Demonstrate minimum 3 years experience working with ABB tools and platforms including technical systems and operational tools.
- Demonstrate experience providing technical sales support, diagnostic studies, and technical solution design for complex customer enquiries.
- Show experience supporting channel partners, onboarding partners, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and marketing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of smart building technologies including HVAC control, lighting systems, security systems, and energy distribution solutions.
- Possess experience working with compliance standards, governance frameworks, and operational processes for project execution.
- Demonstrate fluency in English communication and ability to support technical documentation, stakeholder coordination, and partner enablement.
