Job description
Automation and process control projects for Siemens Digital Industries customers in Saudi Arabia are delivered end to end by this Senior Project Manager in Al-Khobar. Responsibility runs from handover to final acceptance, covering cost, schedule, quality, EHS and customer satisfaction. Planning, execution, monitoring and control follow PM@Siemens standards. Risks, opportunities, changes and claims are managed closely, with commercial impacts and mitigations identified early. Teams are cross-functional and cross-regional, bringing together engineering centres, partners and subcontractors without direct line management. Technical depth matters, with solutions built on DCS, PLC and HMI systems such as SIMATIC PCS 7, SIMATIC S7 and WinCC, and functional safety concepts like IEC 61508 applied where relevant. Cost controlling, cash flow, invoicing and forecasting are handled with commercial project management and finance. Proposal and contract clarification discussions also draw on your execution know-how. Expect to bring 10+ years in solution or automation project execution, including several years as fully accountable Project Manager on medium to large projects, and fluent English, with qualified Saudi nationals strongly encouraged to apply.

- Manage customer projects end-to-end from handover through final acceptance, owning cost, schedule, quality, EHS and customer satisfaction
- Steer project planning, execution, monitoring and control in line with PM@Siemens standards
- Handle risks, opportunities, changes and claims, identifying mitigations and commercial impacts
- Coordinate cross-functional and cross-regional project teams, including engineering centres, partners and subcontractors
- Support proposal, contract clarification and customer discussions with project execution know-how
- Oversee cost controlling, cash flow, invoicing and forecasting with commercial project management and finance
- Apply functional safety concepts such as IEC 61508 in automation projects
- Explain technical solutions and Siemens capabilities clearly to customers
Experience & skills
- Bring 10+ years of experience in solution or automation project execution, including several years as fully accountable Project Manager on medium to large projects
- Demonstrate strong mastery of full-lifecycle project management according to PM@Siemens standards
- Show proven competence in risk, opportunity, change and claim management and contract interpretation
- Understand industrial automation and process control solutions, including DCS, PLC and HMI-based systems
- Offer hands-on exposure to SIMATIC PCS 7, SIMATIC S7, WinCC and industrial communication integration
- Possess familiarity with functional safety concepts and standards such as IEC 61508
- Apply strong commercial and financial project understanding
- Manage diverse stakeholders without direct line authority in international, virtual environments
- Communicate fluently in English in customer meetings, reviews and negotiations
