Job description
The Program Manager ā AI reports to the Head of AI Economy at Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, part of Dubai Future Foundation. The role involves designing and executing AI-focused programs that align with Dubaiās strategic AI initiatives under the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence. The role can span AI Solutions, AI Technical, or AI Industry expertise, requiring assessment of AI solutions, prototyping with Copilot Studio, verifying compliance with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, or curating industry-wide AI developments. The position plays a key role in solidifying Dubai Centre for AI as a global hub for AI research, deployment, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities
- Assess the AI technological competencies of AI companies.
- Curate an up-to-date source of information on current best practices in the AI software industry, and develop regular reports.
- Develop AI and automation tools to support your role (using generative AI is acceptable).
- Verify and curate a list of AI solutions approved by Dubai government.
- Verify AI solutions restricted to Copilot Studio and Microsoft Azure infrastructure to validate functionality and data compliance.
- Replicate AI solutions restricted to Copilot Studio and Microsoft Azure infrastructure to validate functionality and data compliance.
- Prototype, integrate and test solutions using Copilot Studio to verify functionality (POCs and small-scale solutions).
- Curate up-to-date source of information on latest technical developments in the AI industry in Dubai, UAE, GCC, MENA and globally, and develop regular reports.
- Curate up-to-date source of information on latest business news in the AI industry in Dubai, UAE, GCC, MENA and globally, and develop regular reports.
- Curate up-to-date source of information on latest government/regulatory interactions with the AI industry in Dubai, UAE, GCC, MENA and globally, and develop regular reports.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in computer science or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 yearsā experience with proven success in supporting multiple projects with a passion for future focused innovation.
- Strong track record of similar scope of work.
- Proven track record of developing AI tools to improve processes and efficiency in areas such as data collection, management and creation of agents, workflow integration and automation.
- Ability to use generative AI is acceptable.
- Fast thinker, fast at finding solutions, and fast at prototyping solutions.
- Good people management skills, able to clearly communicate and adapt to changing requirements.
- Intermediate English and Arabic language communication, with additional languages a plus.
- Proactive, professional, curious and a self-learner interested in exploring global and regional challenges and trends.
- Excellent attention to detail, able to multi-task and meet tight and changing deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office skills.
