Job description
The Senior Relationship Manager – Trading & Manufacturing at DOHA BANK is responsible for achieving revenue and market share growth objectives through managing an assigned portfolio and acquiring new clients from the Trading & Manufacturing sector. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of banking, financial, and risk-related solutions to offer clients ongoing recommendations and ensure incremental market share growth. The incumbent must maintain an in-depth understanding of sector developments, analyze opportunities and challenges, and provide actionable insights to management while fostering strategic, operational, and functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Keep abreast of the Trading & Manufacturing sector, its composition, players, competitive forces, and regulatory guidelines to inform strategic decisions
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships to acquire new clients and service existing clients across the bank's product range, enhancing market share and revenue growth
- Analyze wallet share of each client and develop coordinated plans with TL/Section Head to increase wallet share across banking products and services
- Develop and sustain robust working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate operational and strategic needs
- Solicit new clients from the Trading & Manufacturing sector and ensure regular servicing of existing clients, including facility renewals, credit ratings, documentation, and KYC/AML compliance
- Cross-sell bank products including trade finance, cash management, structured finance, corporate finance, treasury, insurance, and retail banking while tracking achievements against targets
- Prepare and review credit applications for new and existing clients, including feasibility studies and sector outlook analysis, in collaboration with ARMs/Credit Analysts, and provide recommendations incorporating financial assessments, risk evaluation, and mitigation strategies
- Contribute to the preparation and amendment of internal policies and procedures, aligning with regulatory requirements, market conditions, and organizational mandates
Experience & skills
- 10-15 years of total experience in financial services/banking, with responsibilities aligned to corporate/commercial banking
- Proven experience in business and relationship management within corporate/commercial banking, demonstrating a strong understanding of the local banking industry
- University graduate with a degree in Business, Banking, Finance, or related discipline; Master's degree in Management or related discipline preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of Trading & Manufacturing sector dynamics, including market developments and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical skills to assess client opportunities, financial statements, and creditworthiness using tools such as RAROC models
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing credit applications and conducting feasibility and sector outlook studies
- Ability to cross-sell multiple banking products and services effectively to achieve revenue and market share targets
- Excellent interpersonal, strategic, and operational skills to maintain client relationships and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
