Job description
The Senior Analyst β CFO Excellence (Finance Transformation) role is part of the Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) practice and the Center for CFO Excellence (CFOx) team. The position focuses on delivering value to clients across all CFO-related priorities, including value creation strategy, performance management, digital finance, lean and agile finance operating models, and finance function transformation. The role supports defining the role of the finance organization, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of finance functions, controlling finance costs, enabling value creation, strengthening corporate governance, and aligning corporate, financial and investor strategies. The Senior Analyst works closely with core consulting teams on client engagements, providing deep domain expertise, conducting high-quality benchmarking and financial analyses, developing tailored solutions, and delivering client-ready insights. The role also contributes to intellectual capital development, knowledge product creation, and proposal support, while collaborating across global topic teams to build tools, frameworks, and innovative solutions that enhance client impact.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and support finance transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, shared services implementation, and optimization of end-to-end finance process towers such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay.
- Conduct comprehensive financial and non-financial benchmarking analyses covering profitability, capital structure, liquidity, cash flow performance, and cost efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with core consulting teams on client engagements to identify key finance challenges, structure complex problems, and develop data-driven solutions aligned with CFO priorities.
- Drive performance management initiatives including planning, budgeting, forecasting, target setting, and financial steering to enhance decision-making and value creation.
- Develop high-quality, client-ready deliverables including presentations, analyses, dashboards, and storylines to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with client teams, presenting findings clearly and confidently while guiding organizations toward sustainable finance excellence improvements.
- Support proposal development by contributing finance transformation methodologies, relevant credentials, benchmarking insights, and tailored approaches for prospective clients.
- Build and maintain CFOx knowledge assets, tools, and intellectual capital by developing customized frameworks, updating databases, and incorporating emerging finance trends.
- Ensure alignment of finance strategies with broader corporate and investor strategies, strengthening governance, risk management, and reporting structures across client organizations.
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in management consulting, financial management, controlling and reporting, treasury, accounting and audit, corporate development, or corporate finance.
- Masterβs degree in business administration, corporate finance, accounting, mathematics, or related field with strong academic performance, and/or CPA certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two end-to-end finance process towers such as Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Payroll, or Fixed Assets.
- Strong understanding of finance transformation, corporate governance, performance management, risk management, and financial reporting best practices.
- Proven ability to perform advanced financial benchmarking and analytical modeling related to profitability, liquidity, capital structure, and cash flow management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling presentations and deliver insights to senior executives.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with confident client presence in consulting environments.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing setting.
- Fluency in Arabic and strong command of English.
