Job description
As Channel Manager at Opontia based in Riyadh, you will manage a portfolio of fast-growing e-commerce brands across leading marketplaces such as Trendyol, Hepsiburada, and Amazon. You will oversee the end-to-end e-commerce lifecycle, including online store setup, content creation, pricing, stock management, order processing, fulfillment, and post-sales support. This role requires strategic data analysis, planning and executing promotional campaigns, optimizing product presentation, managing category performance, and building strong relationships with platform account managers. You will work closely with Brand Managers, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive sales growth, enhance visibility, ensure customer satisfaction, and implement efficient operational processes while contributing to Opontia’s overall e-commerce strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Manage brands end-to-end across multiple marketplaces focusing on stock availability, price competitiveness, and assortment growth
- Coordinate processing, fulfillment, and delivery of orders with the Operations team
- Analyse sales and marketing performance to drive strategic initiatives
- Respond to pre- and post-sales queries and reviews across platforms
- Process returns and claims submissions in coordination with Operations
- Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns with marketplaces and internal teams
- Ensure optimal product presentation through high-quality content, graphics, and images
- Conduct category analysis to understand high-demand products, average basket size, and competitor activity
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve operational and business issues impacting e-commerce performance
- Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers to grow brand exposure and gain category insights
Experience & skills
- 2+ years experience in e-commerce marketplace management (Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, etc.)
- Experience in online store setup, content creation, data analysis, and in-platform tool usage
- Proven experience in order management, fulfillment, and customer service processes
- Experience building online strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and drive conversion, including price optimization, PPC, coupons, and promotional deals
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Experience in the GCC market; experience in Eastern Europe is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong entrepreneurial, analytical, and self-starting mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, time-management, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and consistent delivery of results
