Job description
This Partner Development Manager (ISVs) role in Dubai focuses on shaping innovation across the Middle East & Africa by identifying, recruiting, and accelerating high-potential independent software vendors. Operating at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and investment, the role partners with incubators, venture capital firms, and government-backed organisations to guide strategic ISVs through solution builds on Microsoft platforms, marketplace launches, and commercial scale-up. Core scope includes targeted partner recruitment aligned to Cloud & AI priorities; securing commitment to build on Microsoft Azure via joint business plans, solution roadmaps, and Azure Commit to Consume agreements; facilitating product development workshops, architecture design guidance, and Well-Architected Framework reviews; launching transactable solutions on Azure Marketplace with go-to-market support, promotional activities, and co-sell enablement; managing end-to-end marketplace activation and issue resolution; and tracking KPIs including new ISV adds, Azure solutions, pipeline generation, marketplace billed sales, and Copilot design wins. Success requires an established track record in solution sales, technical proficiency in software development with cloud certifications (Azure or equivalent), familiarity with the UAE Cloud & AI and startup ecosystems, experience building long-term engagement strategies with investment organisations and incubators, and regular influence at executive levels. The position is an individual contributor, 4 days/week in-office, with regional stakeholder engagement and representation in startup forums, supported by benefits such as industry-leading healthcare, educational resources, product discounts, savings and investments, parental leave, generous time off, giving programs, and networking opportunities.
