Job description
The Sales Engineer at Check Point plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by serving as the technical expert during the pre-sales cycle. This role is responsible for understanding prospective and current customer challenges, designing and tailoring security solutions, and demonstrating product value through hands-on Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs). The engineer will craft responses to complex RFIs and RFPs, provide strategic technical direction during proposal and pitch phases, and act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external clients. The Sales Engineer will also advocate for cybersecurity awareness, delivering training sessions and presentations to partners and clients. The role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, client network infrastructures, and cloud security technologies. The position is client-facing and requires strong communication, solution-selling capabilities, and the ability to translate technical needs into business value. Located in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, the engineer will contribute to the companyâs mission of enhancing digital safety across enterprises in the region.

Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers
- Understand client pain points and map them to tailored cybersecurity solutions
- Deliver impactful technical presentations and solution demonstrations to executives and technical stakeholders
- Lead the development and execution of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects
- Prepare and respond to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
- Educate partners, clients, and prospects about emerging security technologies and the threat landscape
- Act as a cybersecurity evangelist and represent Check Point at industry forums and partner events
- Stay current with Check Pointâs product offerings and the evolving cybersecurity market
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to align client requirements with product capabilities
- Provide post-sales feedback and support alignment for future solution enhancements
Experience & skills
- 5â8 years of proven pre-sales experience within the IT industry, ideally in enterprise cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint protection, intrusion prevention, and cloud security platforms
- Strong technical knowledge of enterprise network infrastructures and protocols
- Track record of successfully managing PoC initiatives and technical sales presentations
- Skilled in developing comprehensive responses to RFI/RFPs and technical proposals
- Proficiency in educating partners and clients about evolving cybersecurity technologies and architectures
- Cloud-native certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are highly desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in Arabic is considered an advantage for regional client engagement
