Job description
The Manager – Construction (Interior Fit-Out) at Coastal Contracting Company, a subsidiary of Red Sea Global, is responsible for leading on-site construction works within interior fit-out projects, ensuring that construction activities are properly planned, controlled, and executed in alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations. The role provides construction management leadership throughout the execution phase, coordinating subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works. The position involves executing the overall construction strategy, monitoring performance against project plans, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, Vision 2030 goals, and regenerative tourism development initiatives. The Manager is responsible for reviewing construction readiness including insurances, method statements, risk assessments, execution plans, environmental and safety compliance documentation such as ESIA and CSEMPs before work commencement. The role ensures that all site activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements while maintaining strict quality control over materials and workmanship. Responsibilities include daily site inspections, reporting deficiencies, coordinating corrective actions with contractors, managing project risks, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. The position also includes subcontractor performance management, manpower planning, resource forecasting, budget awareness, and cost control to ensure value-driven project delivery. The Manager prepares reports, participates in coordination meetings, and ensures continuous improvement of construction processes while supporting high-quality, timely, and safe project completion.

Key responsibilities
- Lead on-site construction activities for interior fit-out projects ensuring proper planning, execution, coordination, and control of all construction works in accordance with project requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of construction activities aligned with project strategy and contractual obligations
- Review and approve construction readiness documentation including method statements, risk assessments, execution plans, insurances, ESIA, and CSEMPs prior to commencement of works
- Ensure construction works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality standards while verifying material conformity
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly by contractors
- Manage subcontractor performance by setting priorities, monitoring progress, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and operational requirements
- Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost impacts while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and minimizing unnecessary cost increases
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks related to construction activities, materials, procurement, and scheduling while implementing mitigation strategies
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site operations by enforcing safety procedures and promoting a strong HSE culture
- Coordinate manpower planning and resource forecasting to ensure adequate workforce availability aligned with construction phases and project timelines
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost estimation, scope definition, and construction planning decisions
- Prepare and submit construction progress reports, MIS reports, and performance updates while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & skills
- Hold Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field
- Possess 12–15 years of experience in interior fit-out construction projects
- Demonstrate strong experience managing large-scale hospitality or complex interior fit-out projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrate knowledge of full construction project delivery lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and handover
- Demonstrate ability to manage subcontractors, construction teams, and multidisciplinary site operations
- Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software and Revit for construction design coordination and review
- Demonstrate strong project planning, project management, and construction scheduling capabilities
- Demonstrate ability to manage budgets, cost control, risk mitigation, and contractual compliance on construction sites
