Job description
The Associate Manager, Commercial Development within Nestlé Professional is responsible for executing overall category development and growth within the country by driving channel and customer-focused plans grounded in solid commercial and category insights. The role supports the delivery of category strategies and growth expectations by implementing the commercial execution agenda and creating compelling selling stories tailored to customers. The position contributes to the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process within assigned categories and Operating Profit Centers (OPCs), ensuring timely cross-functional input aligned with key category, channel, and customer growth opportunities and activation platforms. The role implements Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) as a core way of working, embedding it into day-to-day operations and key planning periods such as ICP across the cluster covering UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, while feeding category insights into the MBPC process. Responsibilities include executing multi-channel category strategies, driving category and customer growth, strengthening relationships with prioritized customers to become a preferred supplier, executing Channel 360 plans to win at the Point of Purchase, and ensuring category-specific requirements are aligned with cluster-wide approaches. The role also ensures the execution of channel and customer research agendas, embedding data-driven insights into commercial plans and driving internal and external understanding of category needs across the cluster.

- Execute overall category development and growth within the country by driving channel and customer plans aligned with category strategies
- Contribute to the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process within assigned categories and OPCs, ensuring timely cross-functional input
- Align customer plans with cluster category and channel priorities across UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait
- Implement Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) as a standard way of working for the category and embed it into day-to-day commercial activities
- Feed category insights into the MBPC process to support revenue and growth planning
- Implement multi-channel category strategies to deliver category and customer growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prioritized customers to become the preferred supplier through deep customer understanding
- Execute Channel 360 plans to win at the Point of Purchase within the country
- Ensure category-specific requirements are understood and aligned with overall cluster approaches
- Execute channel and customer research agendas to meet category needs across the cluster
- Embed solid data and insights into all commercial plans and selling stories
- Drive internal and external understanding of category performance, consumer needs, and growth opportunities
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience within B2B and/or e-commerce environments, demonstrating hands-on involvement in commercial development, category growth, or customer-facing commercial roles
- Apply a strong coffee knowledge background to support category strategy execution, customer discussions, selling stories, and commercial activation within the Nestlé Professional portfolio
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of consumer need states, consumption trends, and customer missions, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable category, channel, and customer plans
- Support and contribute to Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP), Strategic Revenue Management (SRM), and category execution processes by providing structured commercial input aligned with cluster and country priorities
- Operate effectively within a cross-functional commercial environment, engaging with sales, marketing, category, and customer teams to drive aligned execution and sustainable category growth
