Job description
Retail Banking sales channels at ADIB, including outside agencies, need controls that keep selling fair and compliant, and this Abu Dhabi post checks that those controls actually work. Process adherence and sales practices are validated through regular checks, periodic inspections and sweep checks of sales offices for clean desk and data handling. Non-compliance and control weaknesses are investigated, with corrective actions recommended. KRIs are scored on schedule, risk and control assessments carried out each cycle, and incident logs maintained in the risk management system. Lead management gets a fairness review, looking for duplication, mis-handling or unauthorised access, and customer complaints or staff misconduct are investigated as needed. First pass rates and business quality across channels are analysed to find workflow improvements. GIA and second line of defence recommendations are followed up until CAP target dates are met. Dashboards, process guidelines and circulars help sales teams understand what is expected, and management receives reports on control performance and compliance status. Seven or more years in retail banking, operations, QA, governance, compliance or risk is required, along with a relevant Bachelor's degree and good knowledge of UAE banking regulations. Travel within the UAE is part of the role.
