Job description
PwC’s Tax and Legal Services – Transfer Pricing practice in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Associate. Established in the region for 40 years, PwC has around 12,000 people across 12 Middle East countries and draws on a global network of more than 370,000 people in advisory, assurance and tax. The role focuses on providing guidance and support to clients on transfer pricing matters, helping businesses establish and maintain appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations and minimising the risk of disputes. As part of PwC’s tax services, the Senior Associate provides advice on tax planning, compliance and strategy, operating within the Middle East context and culture. The role emphasizes building meaningful client connections, learning how to manage and inspire others, anticipating team and client needs, delivering quality, and operating effectively amid ambiguity by asking questions and using such moments to grow. Expectations include responding effectively to diverse perspectives and needs; using a broad range of tools, methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems; using critical thinking to break down complex concepts; understanding broader project objectives and how work fits into overall strategy; developing a deeper understanding of the evolving business context; using reflection to develop self-awareness and address development areas; interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations; and upholding professional and technical standards, including specific PwC tax and audit guidance, the Firm’s code of conduct, and independence requirements. The position is graded at Senior Associate within the Tax service line and is located in Riyadh.

- Provide guidance and support on transfer pricing matters by establishing and maintaining appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities in compliance with tax regulations.
- Advise on tax planning, compliance and strategy to help clients navigate complex regulations and optimise tax positions.
- Build meaningful client connections, anticipate team and client needs, and deliver high-quality work products.
- Use a broad range of tools, methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve client transfer pricing problems.
- Apply critical thinking to break down complex transfer pricing and tax concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Interpret data to produce insights and recommendations that inform client decision-making and minimise dispute risk.
- Understand the broader objectives of each engagement and align deliverables to the overall strategy and business context.
- Respond effectively to diverse perspectives, needs and feelings of stakeholders across client engagements.

- Develop and present clear analyses and recommendations to clients and internal teams, contributing to high-quality deliverables.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate experience in transfer pricing, including establishing and maintaining appropriate pricing for related-party transactions in line with tax regulations.
