Job description
The Lounge Manager at Nobu, Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the Nobu Prive & Bar Lounge operations. Reporting to the General Manager, the Lounge Manager ensures that the highest standards of service, quality, and operational excellence are maintained. This role is central to driving guest satisfaction, enhancing the luxury dining experience, and maintaining departmental profitability. The manager will engage closely with team members, providing training, coaching, and mentorship to ensure peak performance and adherence to brand standards. The role also encompasses auditing, stock management, recruitment, and fostering a culture of collaboration and motivation within the lounge team.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of Nobu Prive & Bar Lounge to maintain luxury service standards
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the lounge team to achieve exceptional guest experiences
- Monitor departmental performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability
- Manage stock, supplies, and auditing to maintain operational efficiency and compliance
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of F&B team members
- Plan and coordinate lounge events, VIP experiences, and special service requests
- Collaborate with General Manager and other department heads on strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies and procedures
- Address guest feedback proactively, resolving issues promptly and maintaining brand reputation
- Contribute to financial and operational reporting for departmental decision-making
- Stay updated on international F&B trends to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain a visible presence in the lounge, supporting team engagement and operational excellence
Experience & skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar managerial role in luxury hotels or restaurants
- International experience in luxury hospitality preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in delivering guest satisfaction and high-quality service
- Experience managing lounge or restaurant operations, including financial oversight and stock control
- Ability to motivate and develop teams in a high-performance environment
- Flexible and adaptable to work during peak hours, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for the food and beverage industry and commitment to excellence
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
- Proactive, organized, and capable of problem-solving under pressure
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and brand expectations
