Based at the company’s headquarters in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA), the role supports operational management through direct engagement with customers, supervision of security staff activities, and coordination between site teams and senior management. The Assistant Operations Manager serves as a key operational bridge between the central management team and on-site security personnel, ensuring consistent implementation of operational policies, company procedures, and service delivery standards. The role involves managing a wide range of operational activities including client meetings, site visits, administrative management, operational reporting, and financial tasks such as invoicing and responding to financial queries from site-based teams. The position supports the daily activities of the Operations Center while maintaining compliance with operational standards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities include managing operational trackers and administrative systems such as Time and Attendance (T&A), payroll coordination, equipment audit trackers, and other operational documentation required for effective contract management. The Assistant Operations Manager works closely with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to support operational control processes, audit contract performance across client sites, and address operational issues through coordination with the SOC and contract management teams. The role also involves overseeing site teams to ensure all client requirements are met, conducting toolbox talks (TBT) at operational sites, ensuring supervisors and senior supervisors comply with operational standards, and maintaining complete documentation for disciplinary actions and incident reports. Financial responsibilities include supporting departmental budget oversight, identifying cost-saving opportunities through continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the achievement of departmental operational goals and productivity targets. The position requires maintaining strong customer service standards by responding to queries within defined timelines while striving to exceed client expectations. The role also involves driving TGSS vehicles during site visits and ensuring full compliance with UAE driving regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Operations Manager supports innovation and continuous improvement within security operations by identifying site-specific improvement opportunities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational performance targets are achieved. Transguard Group, established in 2001, is a leading provider of security services, facilities management, cash services, and staffing solutions across the UAE, serving clients through a large workforce and operational infrastructure that delivers flexible workforce and operational solutions across multiple industries.
